1. Sterilize: Wash your hands and sterilize your equipment and workspace. Boil 1 liter of water and let it cool for up to 30 minutes to kill any residual bacteria.
2. Check feeding chart: Read the feeding chart for your specific formula and add the corresponding water and formula ratios. Use the formula scoop provided to ensure accurate measurements.
3. Prepare: Close the bottle with a sterilized cap and shake vigorously until all formula powder has dissolved and no lumps remain. Place a nipple cap over the bottle top to avoid touching it with your hands.
4. Check temperature: Cool the formula to body temperature (~98°F) and test it on your forearm to ensure it's not too hot. Use the formula immediately after preparation and don't refrigerate or store it.

Follow the instructions precisely when preparing infant formula. Improper preparation or storage of the prepared bottle over a longer period of time can lead to health problems, e.g. due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare formula before every feeding and feed immediately. Do not reuse the remains of the prepared formula. Clean bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag tightly after use. Store dry and at room temperature and use within 3 weeks after opening. Do not heat organic baby food in the microwave (risk of scalding).
